INDEPENDENCE HEALTH SYSTEM TO HOST MULTIPHASIC BLOOD
SCREENING
CLARION, PA, October 23, 2023… The Clarion Hospital Foundation, part of
Independence Health System is partnering with the Clarion Rotary and Clarion Forest
VNA, Inc. to host a multiphasic blood screening event on Saturday, November 4, from 7
a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Health & Wellness Center located at 330 North Point Drive, Trinity Point, Clarion. Appointments are required. No walk-ins will be accepted. To schedule a screening, call 833-602-CARE (2273).
The multiphasic blood screening includes 33 tests for $75 and includes
cholesterol, red and white blood cell counts, calcium, glucose, and potassium, among
others. Optional tests, including A1C, Vitamin D, and Prostate Specific Antigen testing
will also be available for an additional $25 per test. 12-hour fasting is recommended.
The screenings are not covered by Medicare or Insurance. No cash payments will be
accepted. Prepayments can be made by calling 833-602-CARE (2273). Credit card and
check payments will also be available on the day of the screening.
